Questions we hear often at Rise Cannabis
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, debit cards, and cash. We also offer Rise gift cards
for purchase! We unfortunately do not accept cryptocurrency.
What are the ID requirements?
If you are asked to provide identification, you will need:
- Primary ID: A government-issued ID (including foreign government-issued) that contains your name, photo, and date of birth.
- Secondary ID: A document such as a credit card or student ID, which must include your name and signature or photo.
- Expired IDs: Acceptable only if they prove your age.
- Physical IDs only: Digital IDs are not accepted.
- Staff discretion: Service may be refused if there is any doubt about the validity of an ID.
Can I bring a child into the store?
Due to legal restrictions, anyone under 19 is not allowed in the store. However, you can
place an order online, and we’ll bring it to you outside. Please have two forms of ID and
the card used for payment when you pick up your order.
Can I bring my dog into the store?
Absolutely! We’re dog-friendly and would love to meet your furry friend. We even offer
dog treats (with your approval) to make their visit even more enjoyable!
Are you open holidays?
We’re open regular hours every day of the year except for Christmas Eve and
Christmas Day:
- Christmas Eve: Closing at 9 PM for staff family time.
- Christmas Day: Hours vary by store, open only if staff volunteer. Please check with your local store!
Is there free parking?
Yes! Parking is free at all locations in the Admirals Walk Shopping Plaza, Mill Bay Plaza, Tillicum Mall parking lot, as well as at our Wale Road, Wilkinson Plaza, and Quadra/Tolmie stores.
What about Colwood Corners?
Parking at Colwood Corners Shopping Plaza is managed by Indigo Neo.
How does parking work there?
• 15-minute free parking is available in spaces directly in front of the store.
• For 90-minute free parking, simply register your vehicle at the pay stations or scan the QR code posted in the parking lot.
Do you offer delivery?
While we don’t offer delivery services at the moment, you can still shop online and pick
up your order in-store! Simply make your purchase on our website, and we’ll have it
ready for you to collect. When you pick it up, just bring two forms of ID and the credit
card used for the purchase to ensure a smooth transaction.
Can I return or exchange products?
All full-priced items are eligible for a return within fourteen business days. Items must be unused and unaltered, with the original packaging intact and all labeling still affixed. A copy of your original receipt or proof of purchase must also be included with the return.
In the event of a manufacturer defect or issue with flower:
- Vape cartridges: Within 2 weeks of purchase, with the original receipt, product, and original packaging, if there is a manufacturer defect or the product is damaged when first opened. Moderate to heavily used vape cartridges will not be covered under the exchange policy.
- Flower or pre-rolls: If mold is found in the product.
- Pre-rolls: If they are broken or missing when you first open the package.

Can I smoke or vape cannabis in-store?
For the safety and comfort of all customers, consuming cannabis (smoking or vaping) is
not allowed inside the store. In accordance with BC bylaw, smoking or vaping cannabis
is prohibited within 6 meters (about 20 feet) of any public building, including the
entrance to our store.
How do I know which cannabis product is right for me?
Choosing the right product depends on what you’re looking for—whether it’s relaxation, creativity, or pain relief. If you’re new to cannabis or unsure, our knowledgeable staff will gladly guide you to products that suit your needs. Additionally, we provide detailed product information in-store.
What if I have a question about a product after my purchase?
If you have any questions or concerns about a product after your purchase, please feel
free to reach out to us! We are here to help you and provide any additional information
you might need.
What’s the best way to store cannabis?
To keep your cannabis fresh and potent, we recommend storing it in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. Avoid exposure to light and humidity to preserve the flavor and quality.
Store your vapes upright in a cup to keep them from clogging!
